A wiki is a website that allows visitors to add, remove, and edit content. A collaborative technology for organizing information on Web sites, the first wiki (WikiWikiWeb) was developed by Ward Cunningham in the mid-1990s. Wikis allow for linking among any number of pages. This ease of interaction and operation makes a wiki an effective tool for mass collaborative authoring. Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia, is one of the best known wikis. (Source: Wikipedia.com)

The purpose of this website is to collate detailed information pages on all recording artists from classical to heavy metal. Choose an artist or band of your choice, and create a wiki page for them. If someone else has chosen the same artist you will have to choose someone else, OR collaborate in the creation of the page.

You can create a new page from the navigation bar on the left.

When you have completed your page, you can use the wiki tools at the very bottom of the page to revise and edit other completed pages, or to rate the quality. Explore the various options that are available.
